Can you listen to music with the Motorola s9 bluetooth headset on any phone with a media player?

i have a Samsung messenger and i discovered that it has a 2.5 mm headphone input jack and i didn't have a headphone with 2.5mm ..so i wanted to no if you can connect a [bluetooth] stereo headset to the Samsung messenger or even be able to listen to music with this phone's media player...if anyone has try ed this please help i need to know before i spend 69 dollars ...
