Will all Windows XP compatible-only bluetooth dongles eventually get drivers made so that they will work in Vista?
I currently use Windows XP but will be switching to Windows Vista in a few months.
My friend has just bought me a bluetooth dongle to use on my XP computer. The specs say that it is only compatible with Windows 98, 98se, Me, 2000, XP - which is totally fine now!
Does every manufacturer of XP compatible-ONLY bluetooth dongles eventually produce Vista drivers.......or will some bluetooth dongles just become useless (after upgrading to Vista)............meaning I would then have to buy another Bluetooth dongle that is compatible with Vista?
Thanks in advance.

It’s very difficult to tell if yours will get new drivers or not. Many manufacturers will not be making new drivers for older hardware. At this point, they may just release an updated device that also happens to have new, updated drivers. And it is also unlikely that those new drivers for that new device would work with your older one.
